Buddha and devotee
Fragment of a figured architectural element, possibly an harmikā, preserving a buddha with a devotee on the left side. The scene was framed by a pilaster of the Gandharan-Corinthian type, of which only the left one remains. The base is plain, the cornice is carved with a row of tangential pearls between two plain fillets.
The buddha is sitting in padmāsana and dhyānamudrā on a throne with a cushion. He is wrapped in the overrobe with covered hands and feet. A male devotee stands next to him with joined hands. He wears a paridhāna and an uttarīya.
