Buddha
Lower half of a statue representing the Buddha. There are large parallel horizontal chisel marks on the back. The buddha sits in dhyānamudrā and padmāsana on a seat with turned legs and a drape hanging in front in two diaper folds. The buddha is wrapped in his overrobe with feet covered and hands exposed. Under the left wrists hangs a separate hem of the saṃghāti. In front of the seat are represented two kneeling monks with hands joined in veneration, one on each side of a small fire altar.
