Bracketed cornice

Part of a bracketed cornice. There is a large dovetail socket on the top, and three holes – irregular in section – cutting across the cornice upper slab. The top of the cornice slab also has several scattered tool marks. The extant piece shows three brackets, on the proper right side the top slab is rebated.
