Male donor
Fragment of a relief showing a male donor standing under a city door. He is separated from another figure by a column of Gandharan-Persepolitan type. Only a trace of the door remains on the right. The back face of the relief shows some large, almost vertical, chisel-marks. Symmetrically on the top and bottom of the panel, at the left end, there is a tenon per side, the lower one partially chipped away.
The male figure stands naked under a door, his head and upper body are slightly tilted to his right. He is holding a globular relic casket with both hands. He wears a headdress, probably a turban. The city door is of the Indian type and has a voluted raised round arch, purlins in the intrados, and pendants. The jambs are decorated with a row of chevrons with staggered arms. Above the figure is visible a plain lunette.
