Modular element

A modular element, perhaps a support to an architectural element. Probably belonging to either the pedestal or a chattravali of a small stūpa. The top face, circular in section, shows two concentric plain mouldings and one plain fillet. Follows a row of lanceolate petals/leaves. The main body is composed of acanthus leaves tufts and drooping acanthus leaves projecting at the corners. The bottom face, roughly square in section, is carved with a diagonal crossing socket.
