Buddhas
Fragment of a cornice with two seated buddhas and the remnants of a third one, separated by intertwined trees with branches spreading upwards and split in two. A hole for nail is cut through the background of the figure on the left. On the back face, parallel vertical tool marks are visible. The upper frame consists of brackets of cyma reversa type with a central vertical groove framed by a plain. A vertical twisted shaft is carved on the left. The figured field shows a row of buddhas sitting in padmāsana and dhyānamudrā of which only the one on the left is fully preserved. He has a round face and a separated uṣṇīṣa. The stocky body is wrapped in an overrobe with covered hands and feet. The folds are indicated by pairs of parallel lines.
