Buddha

A stele statue depicting the Buddha. The back face shows parallel horizontal tool marks covering the whole surface. The Buddha is seated in padmasanā and dhyanamudrā over a seat covered by a cloth hanging in double u-shaped diaper fold. He is wrapped in his overrobe with round neckline. He has covered feet and exposed hands; falling from the left wrist is still visible a separated hem of the saṃghāti. The Buddha has a plain nimbus around the head, whose features are not preserved.
