Bodhisattva

Part of a statue depicting a Bodhisattva. On the back there are horizontal parallel chisel marks. Of the figure only remains the upper torso and head, whose features are completely lost. The bodhisattva was probably seated on a coffer-type throne whose back was decorated with rosettes. He wears a necklace and large globular earrings, and has long straight hair and vertical knot held by small coil. The nimbus is decorated with a plain band and a radiate border.
