Winged male figure

A panel with rebated back depicting a winged male figure. The upper profile of the panel is defined by the subject. On the top face of the rebated back there is a mason mark. The figure is crouching over a projecting semi-circular base decorated by a row of saw-teeth. The right knee is up, while the left leg is bent on the floor. The right hand rests on the corresponding leg. He wears a short lower garment, probably a dhotī. The figure has straight hair curling up around his neck. Remnants of his wings are visible on the extant background.
