Ascetics

Part of a relief depicting ascetics. There are some scattered tool marks on the back. A circular nail hole cuts across the slab in the space between figures on the left. The cornice is a plain fillet, the base is lost. From the right an elderly ascetic in right profile holds an unidentified object in his arms (a bag?). Behind him a young ascetic is depicted with the head slightly bent forward and the hands joined in front of the chest. The last figure is another elderly ascetic in profile, he holds a kamaṇḍalu in his left, while the right is up, holding an unidentified small oblong object in front of his chin.
