Buddha

A stele statue depicting a buddha. Two nail holes are drilled in the hollows between the arms and the bust. The buddha is sitting in padmāsana on a seat with grass spread over it. He is wrapped in the overrobe with covered feet, the left hand is holding an edge of the robe. The extant proper left eye is half closed. The hair has vertical rows of waves and a separate uṣṇīṣa. He has a nimbus with a border of saw-teeth. The seat is decorated with a row of tangential disks between two plain fillets.
