Male devotees
A relief depicting two devotees under doors with pointed arches separated by a semi-column of Gandharan-Persepolitan type, two more semi-columns mark the ends of the relief.
The base is a plain fillet. The back face of the relief shows some large, almost vertical, chisel-marks. Symmetrically on the top and bottom of the panel, at the proper right end, there is one tenon per side. The two semi-columns at the ends project out by half as to create lateral rebates in the back. Two nail holes are drilled in the relief; one next to the left extrados of the left arched door, while the other adjacent to the right pendant of the right door. In the centre of the plain base stands a mason’s mark.
The two standing male figures wear a paridhāna and an uttarīya, a necklace, bangles, globular earrings, and a vertical-winged turban, with zones, fantail, and projecting diadem. The figure on the proper right of the relief, is standing with his head and upper body slightly tilted to his left with hands joined in a gesture of adoration. The other figure stands frontally holding a globular relic casket.
