Buddha

A stele statue representing the Buddha. On the back side, there are horizontal tool marks in a particularly packed pattern; more tool marks are visible on the bottom. The headless figure seats in padmāsanā and dhyanamudrā on a throne with turned legs and a decorated drape on the front. He is wrapped in the overrobe with the toes of the left foot exposed. The hem of the overrobe falls under the left wrist.
