Figures

Fragment of a relief depicting four figures. There is a tenon on the top and a socket on the right side of the fragment. Vertical large chisel marks are visible on the back. The first figure in the foreground on the right is an ascetic. His open right hand is raised up in a gesture of announcement/invitation to take action/guidance/salutation. In his left hand, he holds a globular water flask. His hair is pulled up in a small bun. Next to him, to the left, stands a defaced figure. His body is turned toward the ascetic, and his arms are crossed in front of the chest. Behind these two figures, slightly elevated in the background, stand two more defaced figures.
