Male devotee
Fragment of a panel depicting a devotee under a door. A rectangular tenon is preserved on the top of the fragment.
The male figure, of which only the head and upper body remain, is standing turned to his right. His hands are joined in a gesture of veneration. He wears a paridhāna and an uttarīya, a turban, globular earrings, bracelets and a necklace. The door is of the Indian type and has a voluted raised round arch with carinated extrados and purlins in the intrados.
A semi-column of Gandharan-Persepolitan type was originally carved on each side of the door.
