Dragon fight

A fragment of a panel representing a figure fighting a dragon. The base is composed of a plain fillet. There is a rectangular tenon on both the top and the bottom. On the back, there are parallel, almost vertical, large chisel marks. On the right of the panel, there is a plain (?) vertical band, followed by a band with a motif of rosettes within filleted lozenges and half-rosettes in the resulting triangles. The figured field depicts a standing male figure holding a sword in the left hand while the left is raised in an unidentified gesture. A rampant winged dragon stands in the left profile. In the background, in the upper part of the relief, an object, perhaps a stylized wavy garland, passes behind the head of the figure and the neck of the beast.
