Last Existence: Unidentified scene; male figures
Fragment of a relief with two superimposed registers separated by a row of acanthus leaves (?). The cornice consists of a stylized vine scroll (?).
The lower register originally depicted a scene from the Buddha’s Life Existence, of which only four heads remain. The upper register shows three of male figures. They all wear a long garment and a mantle. The one on the right stands frontal, with the left hand on the hip and the right one up. The figure in the centre, also standing frontal, holds a round shield in his left and a short sword in the right. The last figure is represented in profile looking toward the central figure, his right hand is raised in an unidentifiable gesture, probably holding a lost object.
