Male donor

Fragment of a relief showing a male donor. The base was plain. The donor is standing under a city door originally featuring volutes and pendant elements – only those on the left remain. The jambs are carved with a bead-and-reel motif. The figure is holding a lotus in the left hand and another object (now indistinct) in the right one. He wears a paridhāna and an uttarīya. Remains of the base with stepped plinth and pot of a Gandharan-Persepolitan semi-column are seen on the right.
